CASHES Green are planning to rise from the ashes after deciding to withdraw from the Stroud League.
Despite the decision to call it quits, the club are set to rebuild next season with the intention of running s senior team and an under-18s youth side.
Club spokesman Daniel Kirby said: “Last year we also had a reserve team, but key members of the club left and with players getting older/injured and no new players available, we had to fold that team, leaving one team in Stroud League Division One, but this was a struggle with half of the players only ever playing Division Four or lower, so we made the move to come out of the league."
A new committee has been formed and the club are putting together a long-term strategy.
