ENJOY cake and real ale while taxing your brain cells in Stonehouse.
A quiz night is being held tonight, Friday in the Stonehouse Community Centre to raise money for parliamentary Labour candidate David Drew’s election campaign.
Labour activists in Stonehouse joined forces with counterparts in Cam and Dursley to stage the evening, which starts at 7.15pm.
Funds raised will be used to support the campaign to get Mr Drew in office in May. The current MP is conservative Neil Carmichael.
Teams can be made up of three to five people and there is no need to be a Labour Party member. Entry is £2 per person and includes homemade cakes and savoury snacks.
Real ale from a local brewery will be available as well as other drinks.
With a wide variety of quiz questions, good company, food and drink, you are promised an entertaining evening.
Prizes will be on offer for the winning team and anyone interested can simply turn up on the night to join a team.
