A ONE-WOMAN show about the life of stage and screen star Katharine Hepburn tours to the Sub Rooms on Saturday.
Tea at Five is the story of the rise and fall of the four-time Academy Award-winning Hollywood actress, narrated as though by Hepburn herself, and based on her memoirs Me: Stories of My Life.
Known for her headstrong independence and spirited personality, Hepburn was a leading lady in Hollywood for more than 60 years. In this stage show, written by Matthew Lombardo, the audience is invited to join Kate as she shares her thoughts and feelings on her life to date. A trip down Broadway, Hollywood Boulevard and memory lane, this is an interesting perspective on a significant movie star.
The production won Best Fringe Production 2013 (The Public Reviews - Central Region), Best Performance 2013 (Birmingham Fest) and Best Solo Production and Best Actress 2012 (Stratford-Upon-Avon Fringe).
Performances take place at the Sub Rooms on Saturday at 2pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets available from the Sub Rooms or online from www.subscriptionrooms.org.uk
