Stonehouse Gardening Club will meet at 7.30pm this evening, Wednesday in the community centre. Jon Mason of Highfield garden Centre will give a talk on ‘Soft Fruits in Containers’ and gardening tips. Stonehouse Health Walks take place from 10.15am at Stonehouse community centre every Tuesday morning. Walks last up to one hour and this is an excellent way to keep fit and make new friends. The Pop In is open for coffee at the end of the walk. There are a number of walks around Stonehouse and leaflets giving details are available from the town council.

Come along to the Dance for Life starting from 10am until 11am on Wednesday, October 8 at St Joseph's Church.
The dance class has no age restrictions but is particularly suitable for the older generation or those with a slight disability.

Stonehouse History Group will next meet at 7.30pm in the town hall on Wednesday, October 8. David Viner, who works for the Canal and River Trust as their heritage advisor for the South West region, will talk about how the canals affected the west and south of the country's canal design, water supply and the use of iron for contraction. Visitors are always welcome.
Join us for the Sunshine and Shadows exhibition presented by Minchinhampton Local History Group looking at the local area before, during and after the Great War. The exhibition will take place from 10am until 5.30pm on Saturday, October 19 at Minchinhampton Market House.
