POLICE are appealing for information after a woman died following a collision in the Cotswolds.
The incident happened on the A429 near Northleach at around 6.45pm on Tuesday September 30.
A red Fiat Punto travelling from Bourton-on-the-Water to Northleach left the road and came to rest in a ditch.
The driver of the vehicle, a 50-year-old woman from Tetbury suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. Sadly the victim died of her injuries in hospital.
The victim’s family was with her when she died.
There was nobody else in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved.
The road was closed for several hours to allow officers to carry out their investigations.
