STEP up this Sunday and help raise money for Meningitis Now by taking part in the Five Valleys Walk.
Held on Sunday, September 28, the event is a 21-mile sponsored circular walk which takes in the Five Valleys – Painswick, Slad, Toadsmoor, Chalford and Nailsworth.
The walk is split into sections by nine checkpoints and walkers can start and finish at any point.
This means ramblers can walk as much or as little of the route as they wish and makes it suitable for all ages and abilities. Stagecoach provides free rides back to original checkpoints.
Online registration for the event has now closed but walkers can still sign up on the day.
Entry price is £15 for adults, £10 for under-16s and £30 for families (two adults, two children). Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
To celebrate the centenary of sculptor Lynn Chadwick, this year’s walk will take a detour through the Lynn Chadwick Sculpture Park at Lypiatt Park.
