YOUNG actors got the red carpet treatment when they saw their work on the silver screen in the heart of the West End.
Films made by talented students from 12 Pauline Quirke Academies, including the Stroud group, were screened at the Empire in Leicester Square on Sunday, September 7.
More than 150 films from 61 PQA groups were submitted for this year’s PQA & Empire Cinemas Film Festival which was held in Leicester Square, which was attended by more than 1,000 guests.
Three of the chosen films – A Very Short Circuit, Horrible Henrietta and A Wonder in Alice Land – were made by PQA Stroud, which meets at St Matthew’s School on Saturdays.
