THE sentencing of a 42-year-old man for a series of sexual offences committed against children in Bristol and Gloucester has been delayed.
Michael Cropton, aged 42, of Stonehouse, was due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on Friday, September 12 along with a 39-year-old woman from Bristol.
Cropton and the woman jointly admitted earlier this year one count of conspiracy to sexually assault a child under the age of 13 and arranging/facilitating the commission of a child sex offence.
These charges relate to two separate victims.
In addition, Cropton also admitted four counts of rape in relation to a third victim.
On Friday, Judge Michael Roach explained that he was still waiting for a psychiatric report on Cropton, which he felt he needed in order to assess whether Cropton was a danger to the public.
A sentencing date has now been rescheduled for either Thursday, October 23 or Friday, October 24.
