TWO landrovers were stolen in Ashleworth, Gloucester overnight between Monday 15 and Tuesday 16, September, police are seeking information.
The incident took place in Lawn Road, Ashleworth, between 5.30pm and 7.30am, when unknown offenders entered a locked and secure barn forcing the clasp on the door.
Two very distinctive LR90 V8 landrovers were then stolen. They are believed to have been loaded on to a low loader vehicle, and the offenders then departed in an unknown direction.
The descriptions are, Landrover reg C230 GYB. completely re-sprayed black inside and out, with half- leather grey seat trim, brand new atturo wheels. The spare wheel carrier is loose and the rear door has not been finished properly. Valued at many thousands of pounds.
Landrover reg R166 JAD, has a big hole in the dash board, different colour seats, London hospital parking sticker in a window. It is sprayed dark ‘Rolls Royce velvet’ green and has brand new wheels. Also valued at many thousands of pounds.
Anyone with any information about this incident, or knowledge of any motorists seen acting suspiciously in the area in the preceding few days, is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 70 of 16 September.
