A NEW colourful and exciting play area for young children will be coming soon to Stratford Park as Stroud District Council starts the work.
It will host a range of play equipment for toddlers up to the age of six, including a little explorers play unit, playhouse with table, sand box, see-saw and springers.
A specially designed surface will be laid for the play area which will be contained within a small fence.
Councillor Chris Brine, chair of SDC’s community services committee, said: “It will be in the ideal position for mums, dads and their children, just outside the leisure centre cafe, which itself has outdoor seating. The work will be completed by the end of the month.”
Design plans are on display at the leisure centre.
