A VIGIL for Gaza will be held in Stroud High Street this Saturday.

Stroud Peace Movement is organising the gathering outside Millets from noon to 1pm to show solidarity with those affected by the Israeli military action and to raise awareness of the human cost of the ongoing operation.

Martin Whiteside, who is helping to organise the demonstration, said: “What is going on is just terrible for civilians and children in Gaza at the moment.

“Everyone is welcome to join us in our protest against the horror.”
