TRIBUTES have been paid to a 15-year-old girl who died in St Michael's Park in Cirencester on Thursday.
Police said they were unable to confirm the girl's name as she had not been formally identified but she has been named locally as Jasmine Clarkson, a pupil at Kingshill School, Cirencester.
Scores of heartfelt messages have been left on the teenager's Facebook page.
One message read: "I can't believe you're actually gone, I'm so sorry we didn't talk more often, we had some brilliant times. I'll miss you so much.... goodbye beautiful."
Another read: "I'm so sorry I never said how much you meant to me and now I wish I could. You will be missed so much and that's a promise."
Police and the ambulance service were called to St Michael's Park at 12.30pm on Thursday, November 7 after passers-by became concerned for the girl's welfare.
The girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
