THE body of a man has been found in the canal by the Pilot Inn in Hardwicke.
Two people walking their dog discovered the body in the canal just after 8am this morning, Monday.
A rescue boat, an ambulance and police were called to the scene near Sellars Road and the man was pronounced dead at 8.30am by a paramedic.
Neil Eaketts, 42, from Frampton-on-Severn, has been missing since last week.
He was last seen by family when he left his home in The Oval around 10.20pm on Tuesday, September 24.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but the coroner and Neil‘s next of kin have been informed.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
