A MAN charged with stabbing a friend after watching football together on TV will stand trial in March next year.
Ian Norfolk, aged 55, is accused of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at a flat in Wharf House, Stroud.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge at Gloucester Crown Court on Friday and was bailed on condition he does not contact prosecution witnesses.
It is alleged that Norfolk, of Johnston Close, Staunton, stabbed another man after they had been watching the European Football Championships on TV.
