A STITCH in time will help save orphans in Africa.
Residents from Richmond Village in Painswick are helping African children whose parents have died from AIDS by knitting vests for them.
The Richmond Knit and Natter group have been following a simple pattern provided by children's charity KasCare, which works to meet the basic needs of youngsters.
Now, in the aftermath of the vest success, the keen knitters are busy deciding what to knit next for the millions of abandoned children in Africa.
