THE manager of new grill and seafood restaurant Momo believes sourcing local produce is a key factor in its start-up success.
Momo, which recently opened in Gloucester Street, Stroud, offers diners a range of dishes including burgers, steaks, ribs, salmon and squid.
The popular eatery uses award-winning Cam Catering Butchers Limited for its meat, Bramley's for fruit and vegetables and Oxford Wines, which supplies the restaurant with Cotswold-brewed ales, gin and vodka.
Manager Antonio Matarazzo said: "We won't compromise on quality so establishing relationships with suppliers who offer the best local ingredients made perfect sense to us.
"Sourcing locally is better for our customers, the economy and the environment, so Momo is buying local, employing local and keeping it local to provide our customers with the best experience possible."
Momo is the latest of several new dining establishments which have opened recently in Stroud.
