A FREE Stroud District Loyalty Card will be delivered to all households in the area next week.
It will be delivered along with Stroud District Council's annual newsletter.
More than 100 shops and businesses have signed up to the card since it was launched last year.
Restaurants, hotels, bookshops, opticians, cobblers and estate agents are just a few of the types of businesses on board, offering promotions such as discounts, freebies and vouchers.
SDC leader Geoff Wheeler, said: "The aim of the card is to encourage people to buy from local businesses.
"By attaching the cards to our newsletter, delivered directly to all 50,000 households in the district, we are giving the scheme a big push which we hope will benefit both residents and businesses."
Customers who show their card get an offer or discount.
A host of offers are available from food, drink, clothes, gifts and homeware, to estate agency fees, leisure activities, computer repairs and plumbing.
Kim Hunter, owner of the White Buffalo gift shop in Nailsworth, is offering a 15 per cent discount on purchases of more than £40.
McDonald's and Subway also have discounts and offers available.
