A HOME care company has created 45 jobs in Stroud after opening an office in Nelson Street.
Bluebird Care provides an alternative for those who might otherwise have to move into a care home or sheltered accommodation, allowing clients to remain in their homes.
Former Stroud MP and current district councillor David Drew cut a ribbon to open the office on Monday, when an open day was also held.
"We currently provide over 65,000 home visits a year in north Gloucestershire and the new office will allow us to provide a further 12,500 to the community" said Gareth Powick, Bluebird marketing director.
