AN array of floral decorations, knitted vegetables and homemade cakes wowed judges at the Crown and Sceptre Country Fair on Saturday.
The fair, which is held as part of the Beer and Cider Festival, is the only pub-run country fair in Britain and as always the entries in all categories were of an impeccable standard.
Hanya Paradine, seven, delighted the judges with her penguin shaped aubergine which secured her victory in the baking decorations and crafts category while Jaine Rose won the vase of weeds category.
Proceeds from the fair will go to Higgy's Heroes, Williams Syndrome Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Trust and The Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
