The incident happened at approximately 1.20pm as a man was walking along a footpath that runs between Churchdown and Innsworth, near to Innsworth Lane.
Two men on bikes approached him, knocked him to the ground and assault him before stealing a bag of medication and approximately £6 in cash.
The victim suffered a cut to his notes and bruising to his back.
One of the offenders was described as being white, of “stocky” build, around 5ft 7” tall and was thought to be around 17-years-old. He had short cropped hair, was clean shaven and was wearing a royal blue short sleeved top and dark tracksuit trousers.
The other man was described as white, around 6ft tall and believed to be in his mid 20s. He was wearing a red baseball cap, dark tracksuit trousers and a red and black top.
Investigating officers are eager to hear from any witnesses to the incident and ask that information be given by calling Gloucestershire Police on 101 quoting incident number 214 of August 29.
