A MAN was punched during a road rage incident in Gloucester earlier this week.
It happened between 10.55am and 11.05am on Tuesday, August 27.
The victim was in his white Toyota van queuing at traffic lights on the A430 at the junction with Bristol Road in the city when a silver Volkswagen Golf was manoeuvred across the path of his vehicle.
The victim beeped his horn at the car and when the Golf stopped the passenger got out and punched him through the open window of his van.
While not seriously injured the 63-year-old victim, from Stonehouse, was left shaken.
The offender is described as white, in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 6ft tall with a heavy build. He had short mousy brown hair and was wearing a red checked shirt and long grey shorts.
At the time of the incident there were many stationary cars nearby so it is believed people will have witnessed the incident.
Anyone who did and hasn’t come forward should call 101, quoting incident 131 of August 27.
