POLICE are appealing for information after a man was shot with an air gun in Gloucester.
The victim, a 24-year-old Gloucester man, was walking along Reservoir Road with his dog, around 300 to 400 yards from the Eastern Avenue roundabout,when he felt a sudden pain to his ear and fell to the ground.
It was later established he had been hit by a pellet from an air gun. Luckily, while the pellet lodged in the victim's ear canal it is not believed it will not cause any long term damage.
Two boys, described as white and around 12 years old, were seen running from the scene, while a third male was spotted at a distance.
House to house and other inquiries have been carried out and now officers are appealing to the public for help.
The incident happened between 4pm and 4.30pm on Saturday August 10.
