MOTORISTS are being asked to think about the security of their vehicles following a spate of car crime in Stonehouse.
Police say there was an increase in the number of thefts from vehicles in the area throughout last month.
Offences include the theft of a mobile phone from the passenger seat of a car, power tools being taken from two vans and more vans being targeted for their catalytic converters.
