POLICE are urging witnesses to an altercation at a level crossing in Gloucester to come forward.
The incident happened at the junction of Horton Road and Derby Road at about 11pm on Friday August 9.
An argument developed between a cyclist and a motorcyclist before the motorcyclist is alleged to have punched and kicked the cyclist.
The cyclist, a 45-year-old Gloucester man, suffered reddening and a scrape on the leg and reddening to the torso.
Anyone who witnessed the altercation but hasn’t spoken to police is urged to call 101, quoting incident 501 of August 9.
Information can also be given anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org. In some cases Crimestoppers offer rewards of up to £1000 where information leads to a conviction.
