A POPULAR Stroud pub is marking its 25th anniversary with a charity challenge to help design its new sign.
Ian Morrison, landlord at the Retreat, wants is asking Stroudies to design and then vote for a new sign to help the pub’s charity of choice, St Rose's School.
The school in Beeches Green, Stroud, provides education, care and therapy for children with severe disabilities and complex health needs.
“St Rose's is a fantastic school and they do fantastic work," said Ian.
It will cost 50p to submit a design and entries must incorporate the Retreat’s logo.
Ian said the sign needs to show 'more about Stroud' too.
Entries must be submitted by Sunday, September 1, with the grand unveiling due to take place on September 15.
For more information pop into the pub or email retreatstroud@hotmail.com.
