A CHARITY fun day is being held in a marquee in the garden of the Crown and Sceptre in Horns Road, Stroud in aid of the Sue Ryder charity's 60th anniversary.
It starts from 11am on Saturday, August 24 with a jumble sale.Enjoy tea and and cake served in vintage crockery and browse through an array of bargains.
King's Stanley Brass Band will also be playing between 1pm and 3pm.
Then on Sunday, August 25 from 2pm, the Crown and Sceptre Dog Show takes place.Sign in your pet at 2pm, classes start at 2.30pm.
Classes are as follows - scruffiest dog, most handsome dog, prettiest bitch, best party trick, most obedient, best biscuit catcher, dog judges would most like to take home and of course best in show.
Fun classes include a sitting game - dogs walk around the ring and handlers must get their pets to sit on a command by the judges.
The last dog to sit is out and this continues until only one dog is left.
There will also be an obstacle course with a prize for the fastest pooch.
