WORK is on schedule for the Kemble to Swindon track to reopen in time for Easter next year following a £45 million redoubling project.
Cotswold MP Geoffrey Clifton-Brown said: "Network Rail has to close the line to allow the crucial and necessary work to realign the current track and lay another one to take place."I spoke with both Network Rail and First Great Western who assured me that the works are still on schedule for the track to reopen in time for Easter next year.”
