TINA Carpenter provides inspiration for fundraisers in her new cookbook to raise money for the St Peter's Grange renovation project at Prinknash Abbey.
The monks will be moving out of the abbey into the grange, which needs to be converted into eight bedrooms with en suite facilities, meeting rooms, a small chapel and a refectory.
Tina, 65, who has provided food at many of Prinknash Abbey's fundraising events, has brought together a wonderful range of recipes.
They are guaranteed to suit all occasions, from simple dishes like cottage pie to the lavish and celebratory like Death by Chocolate.
"Charities obviously have a low budget and these recipes are filling and cheap to make," said Tina, who is a councillor for Clifton Diocese.
"It is sometimes tempting to pay caterers or go to the pub but you can save so much by doing it yourself," she said.
The Fundraisers Cookbook is available in Stroud Bookshop, Centre Christian Bookshop and Made in Stroud, priced £7.95.
