KING Hazel June Passed peacefully on June 23rd surrounded by family at home following a brief illness. A lifelong artist, she spent 40 years in Stroud, part of a strong community of friends and fellow creators. Hazel is survived by her daughters, Kelly and Robyn, son Richard and two grandchildren who brought her great joy. She was preceded in death by husband Hugh William King, and brother Colin Steward. Hazel lived a life dedicated to nature, delighting in the beauty of the Stroud Valleys and the splendor of the Canadian Rockies where she started her family. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. In honour of her final wishes Hazel's remains will be placed alongside her husband Hugh in the Wildflower Meadow overlooking the valley at Brimscombe Cemetery.Your tribute has been received.
