VASSALL-ADAMS Nicola of Scarlet House Care Home, Stroud, and formerly of High Hedges, Brookthorpe, died peacefully at Scarlet House on 16th March, aged 81. Nicola was the beloved mother of Guy and Dan, elder sister of Marjatta, grandmother to Lara, Tom, Jake and Tessa and mother-in-law to Mariana and Danielle. Nicola worked for many years as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist for the NHS in Gloucestershire. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and former colleagues. Nicola's funeral will take place at 12pm on Thursday 11th April at the Christian Community Church, Cainscross Road, Stroud, GL5 4HB. All are welcome who knew and remember Nicola. Nicola loved flowers but donations in lieu of flowers would also be gratefully received and well used by the Christian Community and Alzheimer's Research UK.
