NASH John of Leonard Stanley, Stonehouse formerly of Thrupp, Stroud Passed away in the comfort of his own home on Wednesday 26th July 2023, aged 85 years. Loving husband to Mary. Devoted father to Joanne and son-in-law David. Much loved grandfather to Harry and Daniel. Dear brother of Christopher. Funeral Service to take place at Westerleigh Crematorium, Waterside Chapel on Wednesday 16th August 2023 at 11:45am. John was such a lovely man, a real gentleman. As the CPO of Stroud Sea Cadets when I was on the staff he was always supportive, as well as being extremely knowledgeable. Always willing to turn out if something needed doing and very popular with the cadets, although he stood no nonsense from any of them! Now he has Crossed the Bar, we wish him Fair Winds and a Following Sea.
