HOWELL Joyce Gwendoline Formerly of Avening. Peacefully on 8th November surrounded by her close family, aged 88 years. Beloved Wife of The Late Dennis Howell, Mother of Nick and Lisa, Mother-in-Law of Jen and Haydn, Grandmother of Charlotte, Marcus, Alistair and Emily, Great-Grandmother of Brayden and Sister of Joan, Pam and Alan. Funeral service at The Parish Church of the Holy Cross, Avening, on Friday 25th November at 1.00pm followed by interment. Family flowers only, donations in lieu may be sent for (and made payable to) either Oxford Hospitals Charity (for the heart unit) or Gloucestershire Hospitals Charitable Trust (for the stroke unit) c/o Fred Stevens Funeral Directors, Newmarket Road, Nailsworth.
