BLADES Susanne 6.10.1928 to 8.8.2022 On the 8th August at home, Susanne Blades, aged 93, beloved companion of Georgie Francis. Determined, active and tireless, Sue taught young children with special needs, was a lifelong and proud member of the Girl Guiding Association, supported the Women's Institute and rarely missed the 8.00am service at Holy Trinity Church, Minchinhampton. Through her work and volunteering, she touched many lives and enriched the communities and societies lucky enough to have her join them. Her cheerful and genuine nature, coupled with her energetic interest in others, are sorely missed. A Thanksgiving Service for Sue's life will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Minchinhampton, on Tuesday 30th August 2022 at 2.30 pm. No flowers please. Donations to Holy Trinity Church (cheques payable to Minchinhampton PCC please), at the service or through Michael Gamble Funeral Directors, Station House, Station Road, Stroud GL5 3AR
