ALAN BLAND "BLANDY" Former Stroud resident, painter, raconteur, music lover and Sunderland AFC supporter, died peacefully at home in Langley Park, Durham, after an illness fought with bravery, on August 7th, aged 65. He lived life to the full, had a huge presence, sense of fun and infectious laugh. Beloved son of Pat and the late Joyce, adored Dad of Eva and Grandad of May and Finn. Memories of the joy and laughter he gave to us, will be cherished always. A private service for family held on August 14th at Durham Crematorium. Donations gratefully received for Cancer Research UK direct to the website: cancerresearchuk.org. The loss is immeasurable but so is the love left behind...
