There are a few people in our lives who we want to emulate. Because of their life and conduct we are inspired by them. Bob, alongside his wife Jean was one such person in my life. Inspired by the preaching of the evangelist Billy Graham, he became a believer at one of his London Crusades, and continued throughout his life to follow the Chritian faith. It was a privelege to worship together with him and his family at Paganhill Baptist Church where we also attended with our family. My wife and I have good memories of those times with Bob and Jean, Miriam, Fraser and Elizabeth and our sympathies are with them and their children, Bob's grandchildren.

Bob was a kind and thoughtful gentleman. He was very interesting and loved to talk about current affairs. He never gave up his daily walks. Bob will be greatly missed. The picture was taken at Oasis in Stonehouse Baptist Church Oct. 2019.
