ADEY (née Drake) Irene May of Stonehouse Passed away peacefully on Sunday 13th January 2019, aged 101 years. Dearly loved Wife of the late Lesley Adey and Mother of the late Dr. Colin Adey. Service of Celebration to take place at St. Cyr's Church, Stonehouse on Thursday 14th February 2019 at 2:30pm, followed by afternoon tea at Stonehouse Court Hotel. Donations, if desired, in lieu of flowers may be sent for Meningitis Now c/o Allen-White, Funeral Directors, Crown Mews, Bath Road, King's Stanley, Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, GL10 3JG. I have only just learnt about Mrs Adey's passing. (I don't buy the SNJ every week and my ex-husband failed to notify me.) A sad loss. Mrs Adey was a really lovely lady and we exchanged Christmas cards, and friendly chats when we met in town, for more than 30 years. I am very disappointed that I was unable to pay my respects at her Service of Celebration. Condolences to the family.
