PARFITT John Lt. Commander RN (Retired) Of Painswick and Malvern Died peacefully at home on 18th May, aged 87 years. Beloved husband of Joan, loving father to Ruth, Sarah and Elisabeth and devoted grandfather and great grandfather. Funeral service at St Mary's Church, Painswick on Tuesday 12th June at 2.00 p.m. followed by burial. Everybody welcome. Donations in lieu of flowers for The Mission To Seafarers may be sent c/o Philip Ford & Son, Dirleton House, Cainscross Road, Stroud, GL5 4ES. Tel: 01453 763592 Mourning clothes need not be worn, just your "Sunday best".
