TRIM Mike Of Stonehouse. Sadly died suddenly, aged 71, on Monday, 3rd October 2017, at Gloucester Royal Hospital. He leaves his beloved wife Zenda of 25 years, his sons David, Chris and Graeme, his daughter Nicola Trim, sister Linda Tucker, step daughters Miranda Turner - Sterling, Nicola Turner - Sterling, 8 grandchildren and many close and lifelong friends. Born and raised in Stonehouse since 1945, the son of George and Joan Trim. He was a lifelong resident of Stonehouse and worked as a local engineer for many years until he retired, aged 70, due to long term health issues. The world lost a wonderful man, a caring and loyal man, a clever man, a compassionate man, a funny man, a great husband and father and friend to a lot of people. Unselfishly he would be there to help anyone who was in need, be it family, friends, neighbours, even strangers. He could always be relied on. The world will be a sadder place now Mike Trim has left us. Funeral service in the form of a Celebration of his Life will be held at Gloucester Crematorium on Wednesday, 25th October at 11 am. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers to 'British Lung Foundation' c/o Co-operative Funeralcare, 26 High Street, Stonehouse, Glos, GL10 2NA. No black please.
