I'm looking for celebrationsCaroline Joan James
Published on 28/09/2016
JAMES Caroline Joan Retired Nailsworth Solicitor, 68, died peacefully at home on 22nd September 2016 surrounded by her family. She obstinately faced cancer with disdain and determination following her diagnosis twenty years ago. Caroline was known for her occasional use of four letter words, wicked humour and lifelong love of dogs. She is survived by her two children, Richie and Griz and husband Ashley and will be greatly missed by them and all who knew her. Caroline worked at AE Smith (now WSP) for nearly 40 years, and she loved Nailsworth and everyone in it. A service to celebrate Caroline's life and legacy will be held at St. George's Parish Church, Nailsworth, on Friday 7th October 2.30pm. Everyone is invited to wear colour. No flowers please, instead we ask that donations (cheques payable to the charity) are made for either Sue Ryder Care (Leckhampton Hospice) or Cancer Research UK c/o Fred Stevens Funeral Directors, Newmarket Road, Nailsworth, GL6 0DQ or donate online at: www.fredstevens.co.uk
