COOK (nee Blanford) Muriel May Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 10th September, 2016 at The Steppes Residential Home, Nailsworth, aged 103 years. Much loved Mother, Mother-In-Law, Grandmother and Super Nan to Bryan and Margaret, Ronald and Barbara, Valerie and Ken, her eight Grandchildren and eleven Great Grandchildren. A private committal service will take place at Westerleigh Crematorium. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will follow at Rodborough Tabernacle United Reform Church on Thursday, 22nd September at 1.45pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the Church Room. Family flowers only, donations in lieu may be sent for (and made payable to) The League Of Friends – Stroud General Hospital c/o Fred Stevens Funeral Directors, Newmarket Road, Nailsworth. GL6 0DQ. Bright clothing to be worn please.
