A 64-YEAR-OLD man from Stroud who sexually assaulted five female students has been sentenced. Michael Florek was a driving instructor and abused his position to sexually assault females while on driving lessons with him in the Stroud area.

Warning after spate of thefts and car crime in Stroud area
POLICE have issued a warning after a spate of thefts in the Stroud area. A Tommy Hilfiger bag was stolen from a car in Bath Road, Stroud around 10.30pm on Sunday. Anyone with information should ring 101 and quote incident number 227 of October
