THE monthly music afternoon at the Black Book Café continues on Sunday with a set from award-winning duo The Black Feathers.
Since their debut show in May 2012, the Feathers - aka singer-songwriters Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler - have been busy touring the country. During the summer of 2013 they played at over 18 festivals, including well received slots at the Maverick Festival and the Cambridge Folk Festival. And in September, the duo were awarded The Five Valleys Folk Award 2013, which came with the prize of supporting Spiers and Boden, of Bellowhead, at Stroud Folk Festival.
In support is Gloucester based singer-songwriter Russ Poole.
The music afternoon takes place at the Black Book Cafe on Nelson Street, Stroud on Sunday, from 2pm to 4pm.
