FOREST Green Supporters’ Club rolled back 30 years as they paid tribute to the FA Vase Wembley winning team at the New Lawn.
England’s 1966 World Cup winner Nobby Stiles was the special guest.
Vase winning manager Bob Mursell and former chairman John Duff gave speeches recalling events from that great winning double season, where they also won the Hellenic league and promotion to the Southern league.
A representative from Forest Green’s Wembley opponents Rainworth Miners Welfare, presented club president Duff with a Rainworth players shirt from the final.
