ISAIAH OSBOURNE has snubbed a contract offer from Forest Green.
Boss Mark Cooper was keen to lock Osbourne down to fresh terms to keep him at the club next season.
The former Aston Villa star has impressed since his arrival at Forest Green after signing as a free agent from Walsall in September last year.
The 30-year-old was offered an improved contract before the end of last season and given time to reflect on the offer, but has this week indicated he will not be signing a new deal at The New Lawn.
His departure will be seen as a surprise after the robust midfielder had spoken of his happiness at the League Two outfit.
A spokesperson said: “Everyone at FGR would like to thank Isaiah for his contribution last season.”
