FORMER Forest Green boss Jim Harvey has departed Conference North outfit Staylbridge Celtic by mutual consent.
Harvey joined in February 2010 and has had two promotion-challenging teams in that period. He has been a major driver in the youth policy that we have developed and he was instrumental in our change to a full time structure.
Chairman Rob Gorski said: “I would like to put on record our sincere appreciation for all the hard work that Jim has put in over the past 3 1/2 years and we wish him every success in his future career.
“Colin Chambers, our excellent academy coach, will take control of training until a new appointment is made.”
Harvey’s time in the hot-seat coincided with a significant period in the club’s history, with the move to full-time football and the development of the youth system - a role that he was to play a major part in and one that has already seen success and can be a vital area for many years to come.
