An e-fit has been released of a man police want to speak to in connection to a suspicious incident in Stroud.
At around 7.30pm on Tuesday August 10 a 14-year-old girl was walking along the cycle path near to the Wallbridge Industrial Estate when she felt the presence of a person behind her. The person approached her and held the top of her arm but the girl was able to run away and quickly reported the incident to her parents who alerted police at approximately 9pm.
Investigating officers appealed for witnesses to the incident last week and praised the young lady for her actions and they are now able to release an efit of the man.
It’s hoped the release of the efit will encourage anyone with any information about the incident, that hasn’t yet come forward, to contact the police.
The man was described as white, in his late 30’s to mid 40’s, of thin build and around 5ft 11” tall. He was wearing a navy blue or black ‘hoody’ with three white stripes down the arms, and black jogging bottoms.
