POLICE have issued an alert after a home in Stroud was recently targeted by thieves.
The Bisley Road property - which is currently undergoing a renovation - was broken into by burglars smashing the padlock, officers say.
A large number of high value tools were stolen including a wacker plate, drill breaker and a stone saw.
Police did not reveal when the incident took place.
