A STROUD woman caught more than twice the drink-drive limit in a BMW has been banned from the road.
Courtney Smart, aged 29, from Bisley Old Road, Stroud, pleaded guilty to drink-driving in a BMW 118I on April 1.
Smart gave a reading of 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when she was stopped in Stroud Road, Gloucester - the legal limit is 35 micrograms.
She appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on April 16.
Smart was disqualified from driving for 17 months, fined £120 and must pay £85 costs and a £48 surcharge.
