STROUD LIBRARY has now reopened in a new location.

The town's library - which was previously based in Lansdown  -  is now located in the Five Valleys Shopping Centre, opening on Tuesday, April 2.

The library includes reading material, seating areas, printing, computer access, a bookable meeting room and more.

GCC says it is moved the library from its old location in Lansdown to a 'more central and accessible site, designed to meet the needs of people who use it.'

"I would encourage residents to sign up to become a member, and pop in and get to know their new library space."

Andrew Malley, director at Dransfield Properties, said: “We hope visitors enjoy the new facilities whilst taking advantage of the extensive shopping and eating out offer here at Five Valleys.”
