A MAN WEARING a dark beanie hat entered a house in Folly Lane, Stroud.
Described as being in his 20s and with a dark complexion, police say he entered the house while the victim was in her garden.
She was disturbed by a noise and when she saw the man in her house she asked what he was doing.
He said he was homeless, then left.
The man stole a grey canvas bag containing £50 cash.
Police say this happened on Saturday, February 24 between 12 and 2pm.
Anyone with information should call 101 and quote incident number 279 of February 26.
